What we do
Permigo is a permit service. We prepare and submit oversize and overweight permit applications to state, county and city authorities on your behalf, and we coordinate escorts and route surveys where you ask us to. We are not a carrier, a broker or a law firm, and we do not issue permits — the issuing authority does.
Fees
- Our service fee is $20 per state permit, flat.
- Authority fees — state, county and city — are passed through at cost and itemised.
- Escorts, pilot cars, height poles, police escorts and route surveys are billed at the provider’s own rate, with no markup added by us.
- You approve the total before anything is charged.
Your responsibility
You provide the dimensions, weight, configuration and route. We file what you give us. A permit issued against incorrect dimensions is not a valid permit for your actual load, and correcting that after the fact is a new application. Please measure.
Turnaround
Most routine single-trip permits are issued the same day during our hours. Superloads, engineering and bridge reviews, and states with manual processing take longer. We will tell you which applies before you pay. We do not control the issuing authority’s timetable and cannot guarantee it.
Cancellations and refunds
Cancel before we submit and you owe nothing. Once an application has been submitted, authority fees are generally non-refundable because the authority does not return them, and our service fee for work already performed stands.
Liability
Our liability in connection with an order is limited to the service fee you paid us for that order. We are not liable for fines, delays, detention, downtime or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
